Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month I decided to do something FUN! I altered a bra and underwear! I know, kinda crazy, but fun. This was a challenge posted at Mon Ame Memories for their November Guest Design Team contest. I am in the final leg of the race---wish me luck!

Instead of using patterned paper, I found some cool newspaper print that had some fun pink swirls. I also made the flower out of the same newspaper print.

Spring Decoration

I got creative for this one! The Scrappy Girl Designs April kit came with a little chipboard bird book. I decided to take it apart, cover and decorate each bird and connect them to make a little door decoration.

Gift Basket

I found these really cute wooden baskets at Michael's (for only $1!!!). I thought they would make fun, cute gift baskets for teachers. I painted the top inside portion with brown acrylic paint. The outside is covered with patterned paper using Mod Podge. For this basket I added a big flower to the front and a journaling spot on the back. The journaling spot can be used as the gift tag. Just add candy or flowers inside and you've got yourself a cute homemade gift basket!

Christmas Ornaments!

Yesterday I hosted a Christmas Prep Workshop. We made Christmas tags, cards, and ornaments. Although I really need to get moving on my Christmas cards, I decided to do a little of everything. I made one card, a few tags, and 3 ornaments.

These ornaments will be sent to my Secret Santa on the MemoryWorks Consultant Message Board. Supplies used: Basic Grey Chipboard Ornaments and My Minds Eye Festive paper & die cuts. I love making Christmas ornaments. Our tree is full of homemade ornaments from years past. I can't wait to send these off. I hope she likes them!!
