Pencil Lines #46
I'm on a roll today! I created a layout using the sketch provided by www.pencillines.com. This is a picture of my son Dylan riding his new bike after his 4th birthday. He was VERY excited to get a "big boy" bike! Enjoy!
Balance
Here is a layout I created today--titled "Balance". I have looked at the "One Little Word" blogspot often, but never created anything for their challenges. I decided to try this one. I don't expect to win anything, but it's a great way to change things up a little and try new things. I always have a hard time coming up with a title for my pages. I had a lot of fun creating this page dedicated to my husband-Timmy.

Big Picture Scrapbooking Workshop
So I've done a lot of nothing today and sat on the computer a lot. In my "browsing" of the internet I stumbled upon an online scrapbooking workshop. The class is called "Creativity: A Daily Dose". It looks like a very fun, fast-paced month long workshop---15 layouts, cards, tags, altered items, and a daily photo assignment. I'm very excited to sign up for it. I've never taken a scrapbooking class before. The class starts September 1st. I'll be sure to post pictures and details about the class here. Stay tuned!!!

Friday Night No Frills Crop
Last night I went to Memories on Fifth in Coralville and spent some quality time with my scrapbooking! Although I hate having to pack everything up and take it on the road--I love having the option of SHOPPING while I scrap. I got 4 pages done (yes, I know "that's all??"), and I am very happy with how they turned out. Little by little I will get caught up....maybe....someday.....

In the Zone!
Lately I've really been relaxing and getting into my scrapbooking craze. I completed a layout tonight (I know--the middle of the week??). I completed it as a fun challenge on another site. I love following a sketch. Half my time is spent laying out my pictures and layering paper. Following a sketch or "map" is soooo helpful. Here it is (sorry for the bad pic).
