I totally meant to post this earlier in the week, but it totally slipped my mind.

Step Into My World

Today is MARCH 12th!!!!! Time to get out those camera's and start snapping away! Definitely one of my favorite days of the month. It's always so cool to go back and look at all your pictures. A sure way to see inside someones life.



Last night I finished my February 12th layout---just in time! I had a lot of fun with this layout. Did a lot of sanding and distressing. Fun stuff!

Challenges:
12 of 12: 12 random picture taken throughout the day on the 12th of the month.
Scrapping the Music: My title is from this week's song--"Hello" by Sugarbomb. The "step into my world" line was just perfect for this layout!
Mon Ame Memories: Calia posted a fun recipe challenge this week on the forum. My layout had to contain the following "ingredients"---
* 2 or more photos
* 3 patterned paper
* 6 flowers
* Journaling
* Felt
* Butterflies
* Some bling (glitter, stickles, gemstones)
Pencil Lines: I used this weeks sketch for my layout.

Mon Ame Memories Super Bowl Crop

I want to invite everyone over to Mon Ame Memories this weekend for a fun online crop! Here's what was posted on the forum:

The Design team will be hosting challenges starting Friday, Jan 30th - Feb 1st. These challenges will range from easy to difficult. Some will be timed and some will be due Sunday by midnight. We will do a draw at the end of the crop for: The Grand Prize **Depending on the challenge or game you can win small prizes for those activities!!!** The Crop is based on: Crop Hours (Central Time) Friday 6pm - 12 mid Saturday 10am - 12 mid Sunday 10am - 8pm

Inspiration, scrap chat, and prizes!!!! I'm off to a Friday night crop tonight, but will be ready to go tomorrow. Make sure to mention that I sent you over!

All Grown Up

This is another layout I entered for the Mon Ame Memories November Guest Design Team Challenge. We were to create a layout based on this sketch.

The second part of the challenge is to take the words "MON AME" and for each letter you have to have some sort of supply. For example:
M-Making Memories paper
O-orange bazzill
and so on

My supplies were:

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month I decided to do something FUN! I altered a bra and underwear! I know, kinda crazy, but fun. This was a challenge posted at Mon Ame Memories for their November Guest Design Team contest. I am in the final leg of the race---wish me luck!

Instead of using patterned paper, I found some cool newspaper print that had some fun pink swirls. I also made the flower out of the same newspaper print.

First Day of School

This layout was based off of this sketch provided during the Mon Ame Memories Papeir Amour Crop this past weekend.

May 12th, 2008

Back into the challenges!!!! The concept behind this layout is that on May 12th I took 12 random pictures throughout the day. I tried to take one picture during each hour of the day. Just a fun way to record our everyday life.

This layout was created using the August MemoryWorks Express kit. I have had soooooo much fun with this kit this weekend. Check back this week for more layouts using this awesome kit!!!

-Mon Ame Memories: Paper Amour Crop Challenge #10--create a layout using a decorative edge somewhere on the layout.
-Scrapping the Music: This was a challenge a few weeks back. I used the song- You're Going to Miss This by Trace Atkins as the sub-title to my layout.

Mon Ame Memories Online Crop

So, I'm finally getting back into my scrappin' groove! I went to the LSS last night and completed 4 layouts and today I'm back at it! To help me keep moving in the right direction I'm hanging out at Mon Ame Memories for their online Papier Amour Online Crop. They have lots of fun challenges, games, and GREAT prizes! Stop on over!

Here is a layout that I completed today for their Progressive Page Challenge. We were given a list of items to retreive for our layout. Next they instructed us on what size and or shape to cut our paper. Our layout must include: ribbon, 3 brads, 2+ circles, 3 different patterned papers, 2 different colors of cardstock, letters, and 3 other embellishments. This was a really fun layout to put together. Although we are all using the "same" items, all our layouts are VERY different!
