Time for the 12 of 12!!!! I'm off to a good start with my photos today. Anyone else taking part in this fun challenge? This is such a fun way to get random pictures that you normally wouldn't take. For those of you that are new to the idea.....on the 12th of every month you take 12 pictures throughout your day. I like to take a picture each hour. This is a great way to journal about your everyday life. Stop over to the Twelve of Twelve blog and check it out!

Moments to Remember Challenges
Looking for some inspiration to get out your supplies and create?? Over at the Moments to Remember forum the design team and other members have put together some great challenges to get your mojo rollin'! Stop over and check it out!!!
Mara's Transparency Challenge: "This month it's all about transparencies!!! Use something transparent on your page or card. I used one as a base for this card, but you can use a transparent item any way you like on a card or layout. Can't wait to see your creations!!"
Melissa's Candy Challenge: "My challenge for you this month is to make a Candy present for your Valentine! You can make some packaging for your candy or chocolate, like I did, or alter a Candy Box or whatever you can think of! Be creative! And don't forget, you have the entire month of January to do it, just in time for Valentine's Day!!"
Sarah's (that's me!!!) Card Challenge: "This month's kit came with a sheet of journaling cards with lots of fun sayings. While they work great for layouts, I felt they were PERFECT for cards! Such an easy way to create lots of fabulous cards. My challenge for you this month is to create a set of 5 cards. They should all follow a similar theme (example: mine are all created using the January kit with a love theme). Your set of cards could be bundled together with some envelopes and given to someone as a gift. Or, just keep them for yourself!"
Ching's Cupcake Challenge: "My challenge to you this month is to make some cupcakes!! Its a great way of using up scraps!! In my version, I used a round styrofoam ball that I had left over from xmas, and I used a 6 inch diameter circle instead. Here is the link to the pattern and instructions: Cupcakes."
So, there you have it! Four very fun challenges to keep you busy this weekend! Make sure to stop over to the M2R forum and show us your work!

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Since I don't have any new creations to show you, I thought I'd give a brief book review instead! I haven't done a review in awhile and I've been reading up a storm lately. Yesterday I finished the book "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella. This is just one of Sophie Kinsella's books about Becky Bloomwood "American's favorite shopaholic". This was a fun, quirky, easy read--I think I read it within 3 days. Becky narrates her misadventures with credit card debt and her obession with shopping. This book definitely made me chuckle and wonder--what is she doing?? I'm anxious to read Sohpie's other books within this series! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a lighthearted, easy book. Another plus---read it quick, because it is soon to be a movie! Here's a link to the movie trailer: Confessions of a Shopaholic.
